There comes a time when words need to be backed up with force. The year that has gone by since the launch of the Security Strategy has shown that when the EU acts together with its allies it can be effective. But what happens when this is not achieved and the threat persists?

Non-renewable Nerf Power
Mark Stober, writing in Tech Central Station deconstructs the EU's European Security Strategy. My suspition is that it is multi-lateral because it can be nothing else - from both a political and force standpoint. They have group-hugged themselves to the point that they can no longer act on the "better angels of their spirits".
