External Bureaucracy

The supergovernment trade journal, the European Voice reports on the formation of a euphemistically named Ministry of External Affaires: "European External Action Service" or EEAS.

Omitted is a very important matter - will they consolidate their Diplomatic Services? Will nations worldwide continue to have to deal with 25 diplomatic missions, now made even-bigger by these "persons of action"? Will the miasma of pet-peeves ever develop into a single policy served by a single diplomatic corps, a single seat at the UN Security Council, a single representation at the alphabet soup talking-shops, and a single military force other than the US?

Hm?
