T S Eliot on People (and Countries?) Wanting to Feel Important
Today is the birthday of T. S. Eliot, the US-British poet and critic (1888-1965) who said:
Half of the harm that is done in this world is due to people who want to feel important. They don't mean to do harm. But the harm does not interest them.
