The website Five Years Later has has undergone a facelift. The makeover occurred, appropriately enough, on September 11, for the website is named for the year it went up (2006) in relation to the year of the terrorist attacks on Manhattan and the Pentagon. It is no accident, therefore, that two or three of the top stories concern remembering the day of the 9-11 attacks.
Also commemorating September 11 is L'Insolent, which points out that the New York Times omitted any reference to the Islamic terrorist attacks seven years earlier on its front page of that date…
