Libération PropagandaStaffel covers an exhibit of Disney's art (Galeries nationales du Grand Palais) with a fine smear job in today's edition. Besides asking why Disney's right wing politics and support for McCarthy are not on display, the newspaper brushes aside the expo, calling Disney an imperialist entreprise that simply "colored in" a pre-existing shared cultural and mythological consciousness -- and then gets in a cheap shot at EuroDisneyland. The French have still not recovered from the fact that EuroDisney is now the largest tourist draw in
France Europe. The hack that wrote the article has won a free copy of Erik Svane's
La Bannière Etalée from
Editions Underbahn.
