Robert Tumminello is cheesed off at the UK liberty-for-terror codes, Euro-tude, and Euro-law, and rightly so...
Similarly, just today on the BBC I heard a discussion on the subject of domestic surveillance which took a Dada-istic turn. The debater opposed to security measures vehemently made the point that none of this is needed in the U.S., that the constitution is imutable and a protection against improper police scrutiny, and that the Magna Carta was being violated like a broken parking meter.
I wonder if he caught himself saying that yet? Did the wife (or the man who calls him "bitch") send him up to the attic to mutter "Abu Greib" a thousand times as penance?
