Democrats loved @elonmusk when they thought they owned him. When they realized they didn’t, their fangs came out.
This isn’t just about punishing Elon. It’s a warning.
“If the Democrats are willing to pick this type of fight with someone like Musk, why would they show mercy to any of the rest of us?”
And they are willing to lie about it — just like they lie about everything.
Take the Michigan Senator who ran as a moderate, only to turn out being another drama queen promising to reign punishment down on the heads of young Republicans; all the while Elissa Slotkin was heading to Europe to destroy popular/populist governments while promising the same for the United States.
Take the Virginia governor candidate who ran as a moderate with nothing on her lips but the word "affordability", and once Abigail Spanberger (another CIA veteran) was elected, she proceeded to raise taxes, ban guns, attempt to destroy the Republican party through gerrymandering, and try and overturn everything while establishing a one-party state.

After the the Democrat Open Borders Plan to Entrench Single Party Rule ad, the only thing missing is an ad using Virginia as a showcase example and stating that voters of all parties must beware of Democrats claiming to be moderate concerned only, or mainly, with economics (so-called affordability being their main winning message) when in reality (as Abigail Spanberger and Jay Jones have proven) these drama queens form The Smug Liars' "Screw-You" Party.
