The lectures to an "aggressive America" and the pity will go on, for sure. All the while the denials of Japanese atrocities will continue with Pamyat-like passion for the lies that feel good:
"When [the Allied Powers] opened the so-called Tokyo war-crimes tribunal [after World War II], they needed evidence that Japan committed greater atrocities [than the Tokyo air raids and use of atomic bombs], so they made up the so-called Nanjing Massacre, which was completely unfounded," declares Mr. Kase, chair of the Committee for the Examination of the Facts about Nanjing.Futher, those who drag on, using this date as an point in time to take an "initiative for peace" forget WHY the bomb was dropped, and what its' awful alternatives are. Forgotten too is that Mutually assured destruction was the only possible method of maintaining peace in a world of people as short-sighted as them.
