Denmark's ecologists go by the name of the Independent Greens but many, if not all, of their leaders in the Copenhagen town hall have recently seemed to be Muslim Arabs.
That in itself is not a problem, naturally, except for the fact that the previous leader, Sikandar Siddique, was involved in a housing scandal and the Frie Grønnes current leader — after leading a pro-Palestinian demonstration that was characterized as being driven by "Jew hatred" (they called October 7 nothing but a "Palestinian counter-offensive") — is now in another scandal for echoing support for arranged marriages.

Nicklas Tange-Jensen and Claes Theilgaard report that Asham Agha Nadeem criticizes the West in a podcast for "demonizing" arranged marriages and states that he "hates" when arranged marriages (which he contrasts with "forced marriages") are presented "with negative connotations", mocking "Mr. and Mrs. Denmark" (»hr. og fru Danmark«) for doing so.
The report states that Asham Agha Nadeem's utterances were described by Danish parties right and left as "crazy", but that just shows that Europeans do not understand that such speech is normal for a group that has no interest in assimilating.
One Copenhagen center-right politician who does seem to understand, Jens-Kristian Lütken, said that "It is a frontal attack on fundamental civil liberties that he is carrying out in that podcast episode. It is the kind of Middle Eastern clan culture that is being imported into Denmark,"
After the scandal erupted, the »Gadens Parlament« (Parliament of the Street) podcast and its 100-some episodes were suddenly taken down.
