9-11 Ceremony: Paris Remembers
Paris n'oublie pas — Paris does not forget
At 11 am on September 11, 2026, American expatriates, diplomats, and servicemen joined with Frenchmen and other foreigners at la Place des États-Unis to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the 911 attacks on New York and Washington D.C.

Most people thought that the flags at the entrance of le Square Thomas Jefferson were installed in an official capacity by some bureaucrats, but it seems to turn out that they were all the initiative of one single French-American, Nicholas Conquer (see following pictures)
After the ceremony, three people — Erik Svane, Nicholas Conquer, and Philippe in full rocker regalia — plus photographer JBG headed to Place du Trocadéro to take some shots with the Eiffel Tower in the background
