After announcing on BFMTV over two months ago that tariffs is "a key negotiating strategy of Donald Trump's," Philippe Karsenty adds at a BFMTV News Box round table (1:21:11-1:32:11) that also "Geopolitics is a very important subject for Donald Trump," pointing out that the greater number of EU citizens over America's is irrelevant, given that their purchasing power is far lower than that of the Americans.

Le président américain Donald Trump a annoncé vendredi avoir recommandé l'instauration de droits de douane de 50% sur les biens en provenance de l'Union européenne à compter du 1er juin.
Dans un message sur son réseau Truth Social, le chef de la Maison blanche déplore que les négociations commerciales soient "très difficiles" avec les Européens.
