Another dodgy socialist politician get a get out of jail free card.
[Cresson] has been officially criticised by the EU's top court for appointing her dentist as a top aide to the European Commission.
It found that Ms Cresson had appointed her dentist, Rene Berthelot, to the post of "visiting scientist" in order to allow him to act as a personal adviser.
However, the court said Mr Berthelot did not undertake any of the activities associated with his official job title - as an expert on AIDS - and was even too old to hold the post.Unschpinbar, dude.
