Whilst in the Big Apple, I came upon some kind of parade one Monday, and figured out quickly enough that it was the Columbus Day Parade (what with the Italian flags galore), which I proceeded to join. I was marching right behind some big shot politician, and it turns out it is Bill de Blasio.
So I asked for a selfie, and the mayor acquiesced.
