Whether it be the Guardian, Der Spiegel, Liberation, etc, Americans (US) are constantly harangued about their fast-food, Texas-laden, faux-nouveaux, Jerry Springer culture.

Why can't those bloody Yanks take a page from the European model, grow-up and behave appropriately:
