Last Weekend Was Anniversary of Only Civil War Battle in Europe

Last weekend was the anniversary of the Civil War naval duel between the USS Kearsarge and the CSS Alabama off the Normandy coast, my filler on which was published in a recent issue of Military Officer magazine.
