Chancellor Angela Merkel's conservatives have won enough votes in Germany's election to form a center-right government with their preferred partners, the Free Democrats (FDP), early results showed Sunday. That brings to an end an awkward "grand coalition" over the past four years between Merkel's conservatives and the Social Democrats (SPD).Hopes will be high, but judgment will be reserved.
