All the News That's Fit to Print

While the media (and the government!) went above and beyond the call of "duty" in investigating Joe the Plumber (as reported in the Cleveland Plain Dealer) — an investigation on a Republican sympathizer portending what American citizens can expect under a Barack Obama administration — they did (they are doing) little to nothing to investigate: the flowing of moolah from foreign coffers to the Democrats' candidate; the Obama campaign's alleged attempt at blackmailing a mainstream media outlet; news of Obama's ever-widening circle of links with radicals; or — perhaps worse of all — the rest of the media's refusal to investigate that media outlet's (the LA Times') refusal to print all the news that's fit to print.

Update: And speaking of news that's fit to print, shouldn't the conviction of Kwame Kilpatrick be featured more prominently?
