Revolting Display of FDR's Lack of Compassion

On this date, in 1938, a hurricane struck parts of New York and New England, causing widespread damage and claiming more than 600 lives.

(…Must have something to do with FDR's resentment of New Yorkers, Yankee patricians, and other New Englanders…)
