Déjà vu

TF1 reports violence in Toulouse where a bus and several cars were burned at the start of the evening. Vilepine is now speaking about how he is going to promise money and jobs for the rioters. - wire report

FNAC peddles a known liar

The French retailer FNAC, a book and music chain was heavily promoting the graphic novel of this twit who’s story, even as they printed it in their promotional magazine, hardly held water.

Beside their ignorance in referring to a Marine as un GI they ate up his whole fraudulent story and promoted his book. He avers that as a recruiting sergeant he was sent to hard duty in Iraq. He didn’t describe any actual dates or locations that could be verified, possibly because he was inventing the atrocities that he said he was involved in.

«News organizations worldwide published or broadcast Massey's claims without any corroboration and in most cases without investigation. Outside of the Marines, almost no one has seriously questioned whether Massey, a 12-year veteran who was honorably discharged, was telling the truth.

He wasn't.

Each of his claims is either demonstrably false or exaggerated - according to his fellow Marines, Massey's own admissions, and the five journalists who were embedded with Massey's unit, including a reporter and photographer from the Post-Dispatch and reporters from The Associated Press and The Wall Street Journal.»
So too did FNAC. Maybe after this week they (and others who buy into taking cheap shots) might think twice about the mass promotion of material that promotes conflicts and confusion.

The Independent nails Chiraq

Bet they still report the number of Palestinians who get broken finger nails in the Territories

State TV station France3 will no longer report the number of cars burned each day in their newscasts. Looks like they are caving in to the bleating of the leftist brownshirt and anti-white racist group SOS Racisme which has declared that French media coverage of the riots is sensationalist.

Arrested development

Three French bloggers arrested for inciting riots on their blogs.

The vacuum left by an absent State

The first curfew has been declared and the idea of people taking things into their own hands is starting to be bandied about. Raincy will have a curfew starting at 10 or 11PM. In Asnières, a citizen's brigade is being formed to help police.

Le pogrom anti-Républicain

Alain Finkielkraut réagit. Sublime.

One less Infidel

Jean-Jacques Le Chenadec, a 60 year old man beaten by youths this past Friday in Stains, Seine-Saint-Denis 93, died today while being treated at the hospital.

I’m lovin’ it.

Thanks a million to our readers from U*2, Erik, and Joe.
Special thanks to our alumni Douglas, and to “The Radical”

Achtung Baby!

The France-Germany hardcore of Zeropa still ticking along quite nicely. Cars torched in Berlin. ... and Brussels too!

Yes, but thanks to the fatwa those gangs will be busy meditating from now on

Suburban residents abandoned by their government and left at the mercy of gangs.

It's a Muslim theocracy!

A very productive night for the new French powers-that-be. 1408 torched vehicles, 395 arrests, and one fatwa.

A social club was burned down in Aulnay-sous-Bois and a pharmaceutical warehouse was torched in Suresnes. A 3000m2 producton studio on the banks of the Seine was partially burned in Asnières-sur-Seine.

Other regions of France suffered increased attacks : Le Havre, à Rouen, Nantes, Blois, Tours, Toulouse, Strasbourg, Mulhouse and Colmar were particularly affected. 2 churches were torched; Saint-Edouard in Lens and one in Sète. Schools in Nantes, Strasbourg, Lille, and two in Saint-Etienne were targeted by arson attacks. A police stations in Clermont Ferrand was totally destroyed and another one was smashed by a vehicle in Moulin-à-Vent.

Early in the evening a sick and weak looking Jack Chiraq made some empty French party line declarations about the law (whatever that is) having the last word in this country (sic). Just looking at him, one has to wonder if Chiraq is all there. Vilepine then announced an umpteenth increase in police presence and said that on Monday he would announce measures to encourage equal rights.

More importantly, and to the point, the Union of Islamic Organisations of France issued a fatwa ordering young Muslims to calm themselves and to meditate. The Union also included a statement which squarely places the responsibility of the riots on failed French policies regarding immigration and minorities.

So we see where Vilepine got the order to draw up his new measures.

Ils ont été pas élevé, seulement nourri

Franco-American blogger Corbusier describes the experience of being in the ghettos like those currently bursting with violence and rage.

«The [shop] worker was still writing down the order of the young woman at the front of the line. This man was also shoving the young lady aside was forcing the sliding window open to talk to the worker. My friends stepped up and reminded the man to take his place in line like everyone else. They even offered him to cut in front of them. The young man behaved as if he was being somehow violated and as expected began to react with aggression. A few lines were exchanged before the man was threatening to fight my friends, with the help of a few guys from his posse who were waiting nearby. Some pushing and shoving commenced, yelling took place, and fortunately throwing punches was diffused just in time when it was decided to give the North African priority in the line. What was scary about this encounter was the one friend who was at the most risk was 5’-5” and actually pretty gentle natured. After that close call, he was telling everyone that his view had changed from being tolerant and understanding of the plight of young North African hoodlums to regarding all of them with suspicion and disgust.

These experiences revealed the terrifying nature of these hoodlums. They were incapable of following basic societal rules of civility and respect. They had zero regard for anyone’s property, they relished in being able to cause trouble and get away with it, any attempt at reasoning with them by pointing out what they were doing wrong was taken as a personal slight so grave as to warrant a violent response. My oldest brother who lived in one the most ideally planned suburbs was unable to even get his mail without his mailbox being urinated on.»

The Religion of Peace has spoken

Now let's kiss and make up. And please remember, this had nothing to do with Islam in the first place and don't you ever say anything to the contrary.

If the violence stops now, then we know who really runs the show here. If the violence doesn't stop now, then still really know who runs the show here.

France is so fucked.

Remarkably prescient

Remember the Sabbath day, and keep it hole-y

As in bullet holes. Sunday: 29 cops injured by gunfire in Grigny (2 CRS riot police seriously hurt).

In the Tarterêts housing project in Corbeil-Essonnes, 50 masked rioters attempted to rollover a vehicle onto riot police situated on a highway below them. A school was torched in Savigny-sur-Orge. The Public Treasury in Trappes was targeted by an arson (Trappe is the home of French comic Jamel Debbouze -- young punk who has already had run-ins with French police due to his gangsta lifestyle -- he likes to make believe he is Moroccan even though he's just a stinking French). Bus service is irregular throughout the northern Parisian suburbs.

Other regions of the country are seeing increased violence. Numerous vehicles were torched in Nantes, Rouen, and Le Havre. A police station was smashed by a vehicle in a suburb of Rouen. In Toulouse, 30 French youths squared off against police in the area of Mirail. A pre-school was torched in Saint-Etienne and 8 18-wheelers were burned in Roanne. In Blois and Tours, torched cars and arson attacks of building basements were reported early in the evening.

And throw in a call to end to the “cycle of violence” too while you’re at it.

Steven Plaut has looked at the rioting in France and proposed a “two state solution”, pointing out that they have always been more than happy to give other people’s safety away.

«Paris is now being targeted by violent rioting hordes. For years, the French accused American racism of having produced the race riots in the US in the 1960s and 1970s, as well as the Los Angeles riots after the Rodney King business. And the French are sure that only Jewish cussedness and just plain Israeli evil lie behind the behavior of the Palestinian pogromchiki. The Gall of dem Galls!
[ . . . ]
So after leading the Solidarity-with-the-Baathists movement in Europe during the recent Gulf War, France is now enjoying its own intifada by urban Muslim resistance fighters, in suburban Paris. Of course, this is all on top of France's long history of supporting Islamist fascism and Palestinian terrorism.

Now, a few years back, during a trip to Israel, French Prime Minister Lionel Jospin urged Israel to make concessions for peace. More interesting yet, in documents relating to his visit, Jerusalem was called the ''capital of the Palestinian Authority.'' And what do the French consider to be the capital of Israel? Tel Aviv, of course. This trip followed by a few years a visit made by President Jacques Chirac, who used the occasion of his visit in 1996 to announce that ''Syria has a moral right to demand return of the Golan Heights.''

These French politicians may be on to something important. Never one to back down from a challenge, I have prepared a set of proposals for consideration by the French people, so that not only can they preserve peace in Parisian suburbia, but they too can achieve a full, lasting and just peace with their urban resistance opponents.»
Remerci à Val

There's a simple explanation

She fell asleep in a tanning machine between takes. Other than that, there is no denying the French media manipulation and suppression surrounding these riots. Thanks to DST and various e-mails.

With Love, from America

Maurice G. Dantec has a new article about the riots online at Ring Magazine. À ne pas louper, c'est du grand Dantec, du très grand.

À noter : La Belle Apocalypse (préface inédite de Maurice G. Dantec à paraître aux Éditions Underbahn le 18 novembre).

A rough translation of the column linked in “With Love, from America”

From ¡No Pasaràn!: With Love, from America we linked the following in Ring Magazine:

“Moi m'excuser beaucoup”

It would seem that for ten days a series of minor incivilities are taking place in the outlying "districts" of Paris’ metropolitan area.

Frankly, I don’t see any reason to worry. To the contrary, I believe this is the right time to give my sincere apologies to all of those I had a run-in with in first half of 2004 when I sent people I didn’t really understand a polemical statement by e-mail. At the time I didn’t quite have the words to express it. Yes, parden me, really and truly, especially to Arnaud Viviant and Jules Joffrin, to have dared to bend the truth about this country country which is, in all honesty, truly the Light of the world.

When I read in the press about the murder of an inspector in front of his wife and daughter, because stepped on the turf of three "young people of the cities" – the end of a road - I am say that before this cure of medical-ideological therapy which I underwent since January 2004, I would have probably yielded to uncontrollable anger and launched into an abusive tirade like a "wild beasts".

Very frankly, to show callousness to the three poor guys who were unemployed by BMW, because they had felt insulted by having a camera pointed at them from a lamp-post - it can’t be tolerated, especially not by me. In any case, having since read the work of Pierre Marcelle and Aude Lancelin, along with the listening over and over to Dieudonné sketches and the cassettes of the Koranic teachings of Tariq Ramadan, I think differently.

Thus, very humbly, I say it and I repeat: I apologize to all of the young artists who transform Clichy-sous-Bois and the adjacent cities into a vast performance of pyrotechnical Landscape-Art. I wonders why it wasn’t sponsored by Jack Lang, or Delanoë? It is beautiful, indeed, a city which shines at night. There are "thrilling nights" that are painted orange with the bursting of combusting gasoline. It would be absurd to deny the beauty of it.

And yet I hear voices filled with anxiety all over.

Would Islamic integration really work in the West? Could the rap culture, sorry for the rape of white girls and the murder of the French, and with twice as much will to destroy that horrible Western civilization, was integrated perfectly into the new "rebellious" morals? Would it turn the place over to a totalitarian ideology propagated by radical imams who are all from the Middle East?

Oh come on...

That’s just the specter of islamophobia realing it’s ugly head again. It’s a demon which comes to replace that awful old fear of communism from second half of the 20th century, and the more violent nazi-phobic psychosis of the Thirties and Forties.

Psychoanalyst-anthropologists like Malek Chebel are specialists in this area of cult psychology. He could prove during an Ardisson broadcast how learning about this makes use of force seem moderate while going into a rage when in passing I said that Jihad was doomed.

According to this highly skilled professor, because I’m unable (ontologically speaking) to understand the Koran, I took to reading of the collection of Pifou-Poche, in case I ever get to discuss it with Laurent Baffie who, with the basic dedication of Saint Thomas Aquinas concentrated quietly on his coloring book.

Once again, excuse me, everyone. I’m burdened by my prejudice, which in my opinion made "gang rape" a crime against Humanity like a renegade Serb soldiers.

An exaggeration all the same. Do you think that’s bordering on racism?

Once you disagree with the notions of that humanitarian majority, does that mean that you believe in your own racial superiority?

Of course it’s still necessary to lay down clear rules. Racism must be punished with extreme prejudice. But only if it’s racism by white towards others.

I don’t know how it dawned on me that I lost sight of this essential paradigm, but a black racist, or anti-Asian racist, an anti-semitic Arab racist, or anti-Indian are not actually racists.

Pardon me for being so forgetful. The psycho-geography neo-situationalists actions that these groups of youths dispense every night need to be included/understood to be the spontaneous and festive response to the daily capitalist grind. I thinking of writing a short essay on the topic, with Michel Onfray.

Bad omens which I could have been a part of, if I had that democratic spirit, will speak shamelessly of "civil war". I’m told that it’s even the term the foreign media used to characterize the situation.

I very clearly see the cause. Thank you, Thierry Meyssan and M.E Nabe – it’s obviously an American-zionist Machiavellian plot and christian-fascists who want to convince us that the Republic is on the edge of political-ethnic-religious explosion.
It has to be an odious twisting of reality, a secret plan by Villepin and Sarkozy, to talk of a future of the radiant days to come when the mosque crier sings, and thus prove that everything’s under control, and that these are just sporadic, meaningless aberrations where civil peace and national order prevail.

This is why, pardon me again, for being shocked that the imams of the burning suburbs require apologies from the government for a teargas grenade having landed accidentally on the steps of a mosque.

I’m shocked that the accidental death of two teenagers getting fried by a high-voltage transformer is an error the media said was a consequence of a police error, or that gangs of underprivileged-excluded young people weren’t the ONLY ones who caused this blaze of violence, but that the families of the electrocuted young people who had refused to read a warning sign were received by the highest institutions of the Republic.

All the same, to be moved by the fate after the fact of none other that the French working man!
Oh yes, pardon me, pardom me indeed. This kind of consideration would have drawn a harmful blow by xenophobic-racist-islamophobic-fascism to the pro-Zionist tendency. How perfectly condemptable. It is not because some young people, sensitized by the unsustainable position of the Palestinian people, who just came back from a vacation in Iraq or Chechnya, train live fire on French firemen and police officers on whom one must draw hasty conclusions; the fact that the cry war of these pitiable young people is the ever popular "Allah hu Akbar" of Jihad can only impress brains already influenced insidiously by pro-Jewish, pro-American fascism.
How dare one mention civil war!

Still, what a deliberated perversion, what a badly done twisting of facts!
This is why I apologize not just to the rebellious youth of the Paris area, but also now of Toulouse, Rouen, Lille, Strasbourg, Nancy and very soon of whole of France. I apologize to the defenders of the warm thought, the true thought, the right thought, the one that keeps the social fabric intact and supports the ceaseless progress of integration, that which goes into the streets to peacefully face urban violence.

My apologies to the media operating in the service of the State, my deepest apologies to their zealous servants.

Pardon me too in advance if ever someday I find myself making a litigious comment about the death of France.
