French Reaction to the Beheading of a South Korean

"We strongly condemn the murder of Mr. Kim Sun Il, a South Korean who was kidnapped in Iraq. This act of barbarism horrifies us, and the circumstances of his death were particularly odious. The French present their condolences to the family and friends of the victim. France intends to stand beside those who resolutely fight terrorism, in all of its forms. The Foreign Minister has just presented his condolences to his South Korean counterpart."

--A translation of a statement by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs
